Art project meets bonkers high fashion.

Poison Spike is a new line of experimental art-fashion fusion clothing and accessories. It’s fun, slow and New Zealand made. 

Behind the label is Auckland based Mother-Daughter team, made up of visual artist Priscilla Hunter, a recent MFA graduate of Whitecliffe, and fashion designer Sue Barrett, a couturier with 40+ years of experience in the fashion industry.

This foray into garment-based art pieces is inspired by natural wonders, emporium aesthetics, unique textiles and hallucination colour schemes. Poison Spike brings something new to the table; beautifully made clothing infused with painting, sculpture, printmaking and vibrancy.
